HEY, I'M CHRIS YOUR VIRGINIA BEACH POP CULTURE TATTOO ARTIST!

I’ve been tattooing for over a decade, but my story starts way before that — growing up surrounded by the same anime, comics, and games that probably got you hooked too.

I was the kid sketching Dragon Ball characters in class and redrawing Pokémon battles on notebook paper. I didn’t just love the art — I loved what it stood for. The creativity, the energy, the storytelling.

When I finally picked up a tattoo machine, I knew that’s what I wanted to capture — those same feelings we all had as kids watching Toonami or playing on our Game Boys until the batteries died.

Ten years later, I’ve worked in shops all over Virginia, refined my technique, and built a reputation for tattoos that stay true to the source material while still having that hand-drawn authenticity.

I don’t just tattoo characters — I translate the emotion behind them. The nostalgia. The moments that made you who you are.
