HEY, I'M CHRIS YOUR VIRGINIA BEACH POP CULTURE TATTOO ARTIST!

I’ve been tattooing for over a decade, but my story starts way before that — growing up surrounded by the same anime, comics, and games that probably got you hooked too.

I was the kid sketching Dragon Ball characters in class and redrawing Pokémon battles on notebook paper. I didn’t just love the art — I loved what it stood for. The creativity, the energy, the storytelling.

When I finally picked up a tattoo machine, I knew that’s what I wanted to capture — those same feelings we all had as kids watching Toonami or playing on our Game Boys until the batteries died.

Ten years later, I’ve worked in shops all over Virginia, refined my technique, and built a reputation for tattoos that stay true to the source material while still having that hand-drawn authenticity.

I don’t just tattoo characters — I translate the emotion behind them. The nostalgia. The moments that made you who you are.

The $1000 credit isn't for every tattoo, it’s meant for larger, portfolio-worthy pieces that both of us are excited about and that will be featured on Animetattoos.com once it’s complete.

  1. Submit your idea. Send me your tattoo idea with the concept, placement, and rough size. The bigger and more detailed the piece, the better chance it has of qualifying.

  2. Talk with an Animetattoos.com rep. They’ll reach out to review your idea and let you know how much in credit it qualifies for. This helps make sure the sponsorship go toward the right kinds of projects.

  3. Get your credit applied. Once your project is approved and your appointment is booked, AnimeTattoos.com applies the sponsorship credit (up to $1000 over qualifying sessions) directly to your account — no strings attached.

What to expect: A smaller, simple tattoo. This is usually best for one small character, symbol, logo, small manga panel, or a clean design without too much detail.

What to expect: Expect one larger character, or two "stacked" medium size characters. A more detailed tattoo, or a 2 character battle scene.

This size is most common with bigger portraits on arms and legs, but is also the foundation of larger sleeve and multi session projects.

What to expect: Expect a bigger, more detailed project. This is the default for larger areas like an upper arm and upper thigh, or entire calf area.

This is best for 2+ characters, full scenes, large body areas, sleeves, upper thighs, backs, or tattoos that need more detail.
